A Little Bit About Myself...

My name is Kristyn Vrabel. I am a proud graduate from Drexel University with a degree in Fashion Design. My passion and love for everything fashion and design started at a very young age when my grandmother introduced me to my very first sewing machine. While enjoying it as hobby at a very young age I noticed my skills developing so I continued to work on my craftsmanship throughout my youth and into my teen years. It was a natural choice when I entered college to continue educating myself in Fashion Design. 

The art of constructing a garment from scratch is truly a unique skill and should never be taken for granted. The intricacies in constructing a piece of clothing go far beyond the operations of a sewing machine. Concepts like pattern making, garment construction, and fabric content, to name a few, are all factored when it comes to making the very shirt that you are wearing today.

The strong love that I have for fashion and the talent I possess in the art of sewing inspired me to start my own small business. I specialize in bridal from minor alterations to custom gowns including design and labor. If you’ve ever thought about wearing your mother’s wedding dress as your own but aren’t crazy about the style, I’m your girl! I have quite a bit of experience with reconstruction and highly enjoy the art of turning something old into something new. Fun costume projects and dance wear are also always welcome. All of my work is done from my home in Philadelphia, and I am fully committed to meeting my deadlines when I accept a project.
